A new wave of leadership

The wave isn't just played on the court. It's also built from vision.

Cancún Waves has officially announced the addition of César and Leonel Fernández del Campo as the team's new majority shareholders. A move that not only strengthens the club's structure but also marks the beginning of a new era of ambition, expansion, and professionalism.
With a solid track record in real estate and hotel development through the Macondo Group, the brothers join founder Oswaldo Torre to lead a key phase of the project: a wave that no longer focuses solely on the championship, but on the future of padel as a global ecosystem.

"Cancún Waves' participation in the PPL is just the tip of the iceberg."

Cesar Fernandez

A plan with roots and projection

The new management is already working on a clear roadmap:

  • High-performance academies in México y EE. UU.
  • Scouting and youth development programs
  • Global events, exhibitions and strategic activations
  • Integrating paddle tennis into growing resorts and cities

"This isn't just about sport. It's about legacy, it's about identity."

Cesar Fernandez
